Jonkus). The model shows the quarter as it looked in the early 20th century, with street names and key landmarks indicated. Surviving topographical material, city plans, old residents\u2019 address books, photographs of buildings and written sources were used to create it.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>At the beginning of Liep\u0173 Street, another model (sculptor A. Sakalauskas) reconstructs buildings that once stood on Liep\u0173, formerly considered the city\u2019s most elegant street \u2013 the Neo-Gothic Royal Post Office, telegraph office, bank, governor\u2019s residence, merchants\u2019 houses and more.
