Only to sit and watch,
How the sun is leaving us,
And glow as evening does.<\/p>\n
And to see how in the river
A willow and meadow are reflected,
And how the earth is softly stroked
By the hand of a warm evening.<\/p>\n
And to hear above your head
Unknown birds in flight,
And to see trees muttering something
As they wade into the night.<\/p>\n
To sit like this and simply watch,
Without a single thought,
And want no longer anything,
Nothing at all, not even death.<\/p>\n
