Each route differs in length and stands out for its terrain, vegetation and history. These are not ordinary city park paths but forest trails, and while walking them you forget you are in the city: the greenery around you calms and relaxes. Being in the forest lets the mind rest and restores concentration, and it increases a sense of well-being and mindfulness.<\/p><br><p>What makes these trails special is that more than 95% of them follow various forest paths, tracks and trails, avoiding asphalt as much as possible.<\/p><br><p>There are 4 marked trails in the forest, indicated by sand-coloured posts \u201c \u258b\u201d on the inner side of the route (with only a few exceptions where the post is placed on the other side) and by a special pink dot \u201c \u2022 \u201d marking on the trees.<\/p><br><p>In places, the \u201cForest Trails\u201d join the paths of mountain biking enthusiasts, which are marked with orange arrows \u201c \u2192 \u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These are 4 forest routes from the summer stage to the edge of Giruliai forest.
