On 19 January, 5 pm, we invite you to the traditional dance training for participants of the Lithuanian schoolchildren\u2019s folk dance competition PATREPSYN\u0116 2026 (Klaip\u0117da Ethnocultural Centre, Dar\u017e\u0173 str. 10). The training will be conducted by ethnomusicologist, consultant-expert of Auk\u0161taitija folklore ensembles and Auk\u0161taitija folk costume of the Lithuanian National Culture Centre Lina Vilien\u0117.
\nThe training is intended for folklore ensembles, ethno-cultural groups, primary school teachers and choreography teachers. During the meeting, the participants will learn the compulsory dances of \u201ePatrepsyn\u0117 2026\u201d, with an emphasis on dance stylistics, communication both in pairs and with other pairs. It will also analyse the authentic features of folkloric couple dances and the possibilities of their expression in today\u2019s culture, the actualization of the values of Lithuanian ethnic culture in the context of globalization, the possibilities of naturalness, character and individual interpretation of folk dance, the peculiarities of adaptation of authentic dance in terms of the children\u2019s age range, experience.
