Every year, Baltic Way Day in Klaip\u0117da brings together residents and visitors to celebrate the triumph of freedom and a unique sense of unity. The port city will once again celebrate this historic anniversary in S\u0105j\u016bdis Park.
\nOn August 23, visitors will be treated to a wide variety of events\u2014aviation demonstrations and an aircraft exhibition, an aviation modeling exhibit, a presentation of military equipment and the Lithuanian Armed Forces\u2019 arsenal, a shooting range, motorsports and fishing workshops, BMX lessons, children\u2019s entertainment, and various educational activities, as well as an entertaining concert program.
\n1:00 p.m. \u2013 Children\u2019s Program \u201c\u201d Young visitors can look forward to fun games and educational activities, followed by model and mini-airplane demonstrations and interactive activities that will help them get a closer look at the world of aviation.
\n2:00 p.m. \u2013 Educational session with Paulius Korsakas, a Lithuanian angler and creator of the TV show \u201cViename gale kablys\u201dWell-known angler Paulius Korsakas will share his experience, discuss the finer points of fishing, share the most interesting stories from his expeditions, and answer visitors\u2019 questions.
\n3:00 p.m. \u2013 BMX Bike ShowAn impressive extreme sports program during which professional BMX riders will perform complex tricks, jumps, and other spectacular stunts.
\n4:00 p.m. \u2013 Rescue operation demonstration featuring a helicopter from the Lithuanian Armed Forces Air Force*Weather permitting, visitors will be able to watch a specially prepared rescue operation demonstration, which will showcase the capabilities of the Air Force and the rescue procedures it carries out.*The program is subject to change depending on weather conditions and operational circumstances.
\n5:00 p.m. \u2013 Meet and Greet with Rally Driver Rokas Baciu\u0161kaAn open discussion about motorsports, the Dakar Rally, race preparation, challenges, and the athlete\u2019s personal experiences. After the discussion, visitors will have the opportunity to take a close look at the equipment the athlete has brought with him.
\n6:00 p.m. \u2013 Evening concert at \u201c\u201d Young performers\u2014Kipras and Benas, winners of the \u201cSinging Klaip\u0117da\u201d competition\u2014will take the stage, and the concert will continue with singer Dovi Mi, DJ Saulius Bendikas-Sauben, and the band \u201cVairas,\u201d who are sure to create a great mood and an energetic atmosphere for the evening.
