In Klaipėda, it is easy to confuse a short stay with actually living here. On your first morning, you are still checking the hotel breakfast hours. By the third, you already have a favourite bakery, a shortcut to the sea and greet the wind like an old friend. You can stay in the Old Town, by the lagoon or a little further from the centre – what matters is not where you leave your suitcase, but how quickly you begin to feel at home. The only question left is whether your departure date still applies.
