About the activity

We will begin our acquaintance with the port city at the swing bridge at the foot of Klaipėda Castle. If you dare, we will step into the city’s past accompanied by the mysterious voice of the Black Ghost. It is no secret that almost every road in Klaipėda leads to the heart of the city – Theatre Square, where you will meet the charming Ännchen of Tharau. Only the bravest will continue, because meeting the impressive Dragon is possible only after “wading across” the old bend of the Danė River. After hearing the legend of Klaipėda’s name, we will search for the little magical Mouse and the proud Old Town Cat. By the beautiful Danė, we will count not only boat masts and flags but also look for mysterious water creatures. And what would a visit to a port city be without a photo beside the city’s symbol, the elegant sailing ship Meridianas?
We may finish our city tour a little sooty, but do not worry – meeting the Chimney Sweep is a sign of good luck! And remember to bring your list of secret wishes and dreams when you meet old Klaipėda…
