About the activity

A resort area and beach of the port city that is very easy to reach from the city centre by car, public transport or on foot. Historically it was an old fishing village, and today it is one of the most popular places to visit for residents and guests of the seaside city. Fans of active sports will also find something to do here: surfing activities are organised here.

Surfing lessons take place on Melnragė beach near the northern pier.

There are currently three schools offering surfing lessons in Klaipėda: “Banglentė”, “Surf Camp” and “Surf Style”.
