About the activity

“Taste Klaipėda…” is a gourmet route through Klaipėda Old Town with a scent of the sea.

During the tour, you will find out what a boathouse is, where the swing bridge is and what story is hidden in the old warehouses of the port city, once full of goods shipped around the world. The route will also take you aboard a real ship, the legendary “Meridianas”, a symbol of Klaipėda, where a traditional sailors’ drink awaits you.

And what will you taste?
Fish, of course: the port city’s cuisine is unimaginable without it. You will taste herring as well as the unforgettable Old Town cheese sticks, which have become a true gastronomic calling card of the city.

This gastronomic and maritime route is for those who want not only to hear and see but also to taste Klaipėda.
